Assam
Assam is one of the world’s largest tea growing region, located in India’s northeastern part, crossed by the Brahmaputra river. This part of India experiences heavy rainfall, up to 250-300ml per day in the monsoon season, with temperatures rising up to 36°C, resulting in a greenhouse-like environment. This tropical climate gives Assam tea it’s unique taste.
